This artwork captures the raw, fast-paced energy of ostriches in motion — those explosive strides where feathers lift, legs stretch, and the whole bird seems to skim across the earth. Ostriches are the world’s largest and fastest-running birds, reaching up to 70 km/h. Their powerful legs act as both engines and defence, while their wings help them balance and steer at high speed. Moving in loose groups, they communicate through posture and sweeping wing gestures — a rhythm beautifully echoed here.
